Before there was Roll for Sandwich, before the realm of Aardia, there was Jake Down. Jake Down was the name of my folk/rock/singer songwriter project.

I released a few eps during the 8 or so years I was active, and toured around the country a little bit. I built a small but loyal following but never really broke out onto the National stage.

As much as I enjoyed songwriting, after a while I realized that a touring musician just wasn't what I wanted for myself out of life. I'm still extremely proud of these songs though, and I think they reflect a different side of me than you typically see with Roll for Sandwich.

I still have a lot of them lying around, so I figured why not make them available on my store for those curious.
